What is history?  What is the past?  What are narratives and what are role models?

When we are young, we adapt to the environment and pressures around us.  Our understanding of the world becomes grounded in structures and conventions that make us feel safe, make us feel included and part of a strengthening narrative.  A life-long journey.

We are told we are part of a long running story with role models to follow and a baton to pick up, carried by those before us who most look and sound like us, that share the same roots.

History, the past, narratives and trajectories are all about reflection.    Overcoming pressures and environmental factors that others are incapable of.  It gives all lives meaning.  But what if this powerful immeasurable tool, our sense of reflection and thought process...  is backwards?
